We are proud to introduce you to our new Strina Rug which is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. From kitchens to bathrooms, hallways to gardens, the water-resistant nature of our rug means it works just as well outdoor on terraces and in summer houses as it does inside. It is incredibly practical, easy to clean, stain resistant, hardwearing and resistant to water damage – again making them the perfect as an indoor or outdoor rug.

This rug looks and feels like wool, but are crafted by weaving together strands of recycled plastic bottles to create a stunning, ethical, environmentally friendly rug for decoration of your home and garden. The rug is also reversible made, finished equally on both sides using a robust flatweave construction.

Too many plastic bottles end up littering our seas, where they eventually break down into tiny pieces that are eaten by marine wildlife and enter the food chain. There many people working on innovations to address our planet’s ever-increasing plastic problem, but recycling remains one of the most effective solutions currently available.
